Alyssa Minsky

Alyssa is a senior associate practicing exclusively in the area of employment and human rights law, where she has acted as a committed advocate for both employee and employer clients since 2002.
When representing her clients, Alyssa is guided by the philosophy that legal advice related to workplace disputes should be aligned with the particular needs and objectives of her clients. She then undertakes to provide them with practical and cost-effective solutions.
Alyssa began her work in employment and labour law after receiving her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario. Alyssa has also gained experience in both civil litigation and condominium law matters.
Alyssa has appeared as counsel at the superior court of justice on numerous occasions and she has extensive experience advising clients with respect to termination/wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals, demotions, lay-offs and a variety of employment matters. She routinely advises clients regarding human rights issues in relation to employment as well as drafts and revises employment contracts and related documents.
Alyssa is a strong advocate of the mediation process in workplace disputes but, where warranted, she will not hesitate to represent her clients before the courts.
